Our Hairitage Afro Kinky Extensions are 100% textured and coarse human hair. Most colors can be easily bleached and dyed. For best results, virgin #1b is encoruaged. Jet black #1 color is not easily bleached because it is a permanent color compared to the other options. So please do not order jet black #1 permanent color if you ever plan to bleach the hair with ease.
1 ounce pack of afro kinky human hair applies to all lengths. With one pack, you can strip off at least 40-75 strands for wrapping of loc extensions. More can be stripped off depending on how small you make your locs. On average, a minimum of 4 packs of hair is needed for a full head of loc extensions. The amount needed may vary depending on the desired length.

    I use this hair to repair thinning areas in my locs or on my Mom if a loc breaks off (she was snatching damaged areas off & throwing them away). Once I told her they can be repaired (learned from many YT vid) I found Macon Styles through Etsy (1-2 yrs ago). I have since advised dozens of my loc friends to order as well and they love the products also. Great job!

    Purchasing the Human hair bundle and watching YouTube videos on how to extend my locs saved me so much money. I was actually considering flying to another state to have this done. Overall the hair is great! The #1 jet black is more like a #1b, slightly kinkier than my hair but it still looks natural. I washed my hair for the first time and the hair has softened a bit. This hair does collect lint, so sleeping with a silk bonnet is a MUST. I would purchase again if I needed! Thanks again.
