"MaconStyles.com", “Ourselves”, “We” and "Us", refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of MaconStyles.com’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing English Law. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Privacy Statement

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Authorized employees within MaconStyles.com on a need to know basis only use any information collected from individual customers. We constantly review our systems and data to ensure the best possible service to our customers. Parliament has created specific offences for unauthorised actions against computer systems and data. We will investigate any such actions with a view to prosecuting and/or taking civil proceedings to recover damages against those responsible.

Confidentiality

Client records are regarded as confidential and therefore will not be divulged to any third party, [and] if legally required to do so to the appropriate authorities. Clients have the right to request sight of, and copies of any and all Client Records we keep, on the provision that we are given reasonable notice of such a request. Clients are requested to retain copies of any literature issued in relation to the provision of our services. Where appropriate, we shall issue Client’s with appropriate written information, handouts or copies of records as part of an agreed contract, for the benefit of both parties.
We will not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party or use your e-mail address for unsolicited mail. Any emails sent by MaconStyles.com will only be in connection with the provision of agreed services and products.

Termination of Agreements and Refunds Policy

We have the right to terminate any Services Agreement for any reason, including the ending of services that are already underway. No refunds shall be offered after an order is processed and where a Service is deemed to have begun and is, for all intents and purposes, underway.

Returns Policy

As per our shop policy, and due to the nature of the product we sell, we do not offer refunds but we can exchange only select products under extenuating circumstances which are at our discretion. Custom loc orders cannot be exchanged due to the nature of handmade art being specific to each customer requesting their desired specifications. Order cancellations are typically not allowed, so we ask that customers are certain about their purchase and mindful of our terms set herein. Because our products are as-is, we ensure that we provide sufficient information, videos, photos, and blog posts to provide the highest level of confidence to our customers before they purchase. Shipping

Macon Styles ships out Hairitage Bundles to customers in different states to have their stylists do their hair. We encourage customer's to wait to receive their product before booking an appointment with their stylists. Macon Styles is not responsible or liable for shipment times that may cause missed appointments or delays, but we will do our best to communicate if any USPS delays or issues arise. Insurance and signature is typically not included with shipments unless requested by customer, as these services are separately priced according to USPS rates. If customer requests signature or insurance, the customer is responsible for the additional charges.

We will NOT be held responsible for orders shipped to the wrong address as a result of the customer's mistake or misspelling of the shipping address.It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to make certain that she or he enters the address correctly. Please double-check the address you enter and make sure it is valid for USPS shipments.Our packages cannot be forwarded to a different address in case of a change of address. The shipping address entered must be the final location of the shipment. If customer package is returned to sender due to incorrect address, the customer is responsible for the shipping fees to send the package again. Free shipping only applies toward the initial shipment.

Our free shipping option is for first class shipping via USPS, however shipping may take additional time during USPS peak seasons. If you need your package guaranteed by a certain date, we encourage you to purchase the express shipping option at checkout. Priority mail delivers typically within 2-3 business days, but USPS does not guarantee a date. Express mail delivers typically within 1-2 business days, and although it is a guaranteed service there are times that USPS may experience transit delays which result in a late delivery. In this case, claim is filed by Macon Styles to issue a shipping fee refund to the customer. Transit delay does not warrant a refund of the actual order. Shipping refund is typically issued within 3-5 business days from the time of confirmed delivery.

Our processing times for domestic & international shipping vary from 1-3 business days on most products before shipping. We need time to package and prepare orders, so please keep the processing time in mind. In some situations, our warehouse needs additional time to process hair that is not readily in stock. In this case, additional processing time is needed. We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Please note that the expected delivery date is provided by the courier, and is subject to change. For any questions about transit time and delivery, please contact the courier directly. Restrictions also apply for free shipping.

International customers: please be aware of your country's customs fee for declared items. Macon Styles is not liable or responsible for fees imposed by your customs department. It is the buyer's responsibility to be informed about the fees they must Pay to receive their package. These fees do not go to Macon Styles. Additionally, Customs may hold a package and cause transit delay. We are also not responsible for this delay.

Please note (if you are ordering for a vacation, appointment, or any other plan that is coming very soon), we kindly suggest you do not place an order at this time. We cannot expedite or rush our handmade process, although you may request USPS to expedite shipping at checkout. All locs orders are custom, handcrafted made to order. In order to provide you with locs that look naturally grown, we need the necessary time to handcraft them. Order demands change without notice, especially during peak season. Thus, the timeframe for completion is only an estimate and can change depending on your loc quantity, length and order volume. We do not offer refunds due to the nature of the custom work we provide. We are also not liable for any missed arrangements as a result of processing or USPS delivery times. Current time frame is 1-3 weeks to complete your loc bundles.

When you submit your order for our handmade loc extensions, it is placed in a queue.

*Loc orders may exceed the estimatedd timeframe if you order: Locs with long length and/or high quantity, if unexpected delays occur during the handmade process or if there's a high order volume during peak seasons** To avoid any confusion, please reference and acknowledge these terms in its entirety prior to purchase.

We craft hundreds of locs on a weekly basis. Most importantly, we strive to maintain quality and durability so that your locs will look natural from the time of install. Purchases for deposits to set appointment

Macon Styles offers a unique and convenient booking experience for all our clients. Deposits for services that does not include loc extensions are able to be made by navigating to the "Booking and Portfolio" tab, selecting the style you desire, and booking the actual style with an appointment date request. The date will be reviewed by our loctician and availability will be determined. A consultation is required prior to booking any service online. Virtual consultations are available for those who aren't local. Simply request a date & time and someone will correspond on availability.

Deposits for local appointments are not refundable, but can be rescheduled. Deposits for out of state or out of city appointments are not refundable, but under extenuating circumstances Macon Styles can make an exception to reschedule. Deposits for out of town appointments allow for the trip and accommodations to be secured, this is why we cannot offer a refund. By submitting a deposit for a service, the buyer understands that the purchase is for a service and therefore waives option for having the purchase shipped with a tracking number. Deposits are not shippable. A deposit is required in order to secure and book an appointment. Bookings are made daily on a first come, first served basis. Appointments can not be held without a deposit. Submission of a deposit allows for better scheduling and preparation of products before the appointment. Pricing for any service is determined at the time of consultation.

We must meet minimum number of clients to book particular days for appointments. This minimum needs to be met 24 hours or earlier so that we can determine if a particular date will hold. Due to rental fees, stylist fees and quality assurance, we reserve the right to cancel any date that does not meet this requirement.

Service Pricing

We respect the uniqueness of every individual. With so many hair textures and types, we do not have a set price for everyone. Pricing varies for each client and is determined during a 1 on 1 consultation where we dedicate the necessary time to explain the entire process for the service you're seeking.
