Here's a quick update on some loc extensions that I installed over 3 months ago. Her hair is locking up consistently with the loc extensions. My focus when starting loc extensions is to ensure that the natural loc that grows out of my client's root will match the thickness of the previously installed extensions. Many people cut their extensions off after having them for several years, primarily because they are able to see where the loc transitions into an extension. When I do my installation, this isn't the case so you can very well leave your extensions in permanently without ever having to cut them off. Unless, of course, you want to cut them off for personal reasons. Enjoy!
